Rail sector 

The UK Rail Sector encompasses passenger and freight trains, track maintenance, and station management, forming a vital backbone for our economy and transportation infrastructure.

PPE in the rail sector is crucial for protecting workers. Working on the tracks is a dangerous job. It plays a critical role in protecting employees from potential hazards such as fires, electrostatic impulses from train tracks, as well as the more obvious injury risks from falls, loud noise and heavy machinery.  Common items workers must wear include rail spec high-visibility clothing, flame retardant and anti-static clothing items, safety helmets, safety footwear, and ear protection.
